Abstract

|
The experiments were conducted to determine effective of various concentration of macroelement in MS media on organogenesis from shoot tip culture and the various soil media on in vivo growth of in vitro cultured plantlets of Anthurium arzdreanum, ¢¥Hazrija¢¥ and ¢¥Ingrid¢¥ for cut flower, and A. scherzerianum ¢¥Belinda¢¥, for pot flower. 0.3-0.8 ¡¿ strength of macroelement enhanced shoot growth in all cultivars. Symptoms of nutrient deficiencies in plantlets was observed as the culture duration was prolonged. Over 6 months of culture, MS basal medium was more effective in the multiplication and growth of shoot. To enhance rooting in ¢¥Ingrid¢¥, IBA was more effective than IAA and NAA. Fine bark was effective in shoot and root growth of transplanted seedlings compared with combined medium of peatmoss and perlite. Survival rate was high, over 90% in all treatments.
